Fire Victims in Tambora Needs Baby Supplies

Fire victims living at RT 08/10, Tanah Sereal Urban Village, Tambora, West Jakarta, urgently need aid in form of baby supplies, such as diapers, milk, and layette. As experienced by Lisna, (46), she is in need of diapers and milk for her baby. This is because she had no money to buy the baby supplies. 

Food and drink stock is very adequate here. But, we just need baby supplies now

Fire Victims Remain Stay at Refuge

 

Lisna and her family still persist in a plastic tent that was set up near the fire location. "We also need building materials to re-build our home," she said.

 

Head of West Jakarta Social Sub-Department, Ika uli Rahayu expressed aid was already distributed to fire victims on Thursday (11/20), ranging from package rice meals, beverages, and blankets.

 

"We also set up a public kitchen. We distribute 900 meals to refugees twice a day," she told,

 

Regarding baby supplies, she continued there was a petition filed by RT/RW apparatus. "We did no have stock of baby equipment. But we will try to provide it soon," she said.

 

As for the information, fire gutted at least 80 homes stood atop Jalan Tanah Sereal Raya, Thursday (11/20).
